Staffan Holm is a Swedish designer who lives in Göteborg, Sweden. Most of his works are based on the themes: interior architecture, industrial design and furniture design. He strongly focuses on the quality and the handicraft technique that is connected with human aspects. His designs have already been honoured with numerous design awards of Scandinavia.

It seems that Staffan Holm’s New Nordic design goes against the current, minimalistic form of Scandinavian design. Form follows function isn’t enough for him and New Nordic design is a conceptual approach which focusses on emotional functions that are typical for contemporaneous Nordic designers.
