The Furnishing Industry Trust (FIT) is making a last call for entries for the Women in Furnishing Awards (WIF). Highlighting and celebrating female talent in the sector, FIT is calling for women and men to nominate deserving women now before the deadline of noon, Tuesday 3rd May.
Sponsored by The Manchester Furniture Show and Willis and Gambier, the second Women in Furnishing Awards luncheon is being held on Thursday 2nd June at Furniture Makers Hall in London, where awards for four categories, including the newly-launched Most Promising Newcomer award, will be presented. The other categories are The Furnishing Industry Businesswoman of The Year, Inspirational Woman/Women of the Year, and The Lifetime Achievement award.
Says FIT chief executive, Charles Kerrigan: “We’ve already had great interest in the awards but we know there are so many more talented women in the industry who deserve the opportunity to be recognised for their outstanding contributions.”
